COLORAMA ! is a three-day workshop exploring colour as a tool for building expressive sketches and telling stories. Through playful experiments, limited palettes and mixed media, we will explore how colours can create depth, atmosphere and rhythm, rather than simply reproduce what we see. A particular focus will be given to people and everyday scenes: learning how to simplify figures into expressive shapes, use colour to make them stand out or blend into their surroundings, and create connections between characters and their environment. The workshop will combine demonstrations, short exercises and longer personal projects. Participants will have plenty of time to experiment, test colour combinations and develop their own visual language
All levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced sketchers. The exercises can be adapted to each participant’s experience and approach.
The course will be held in English.
